These terms are an agreement between you and Ibtikar Al Ula for Information Technology and E-Marketing Co. Ltd. about your use of Crayonday. By using the app you accept them. If you don't accept them, please don't use the app.
The service
Crayonday uses AI to turn a photo you choose into a crayon-style doodle with the background removed, and keeps your doodles in a calendar journal on your phone. You can flip a doodle back to its photo, share doodles and month posters, and get a daily reminder.
AI output
Doodles are made by AI, so:
- The same photo may give a different result each time.
- A doodle may not match the original photo exactly, and it may sometimes contain mistakes or odd details.
- The AI provider may decline some photos.
Please look at a doodle before you share it. You can report one that is wrong or inappropriate (see Reporting below).
Acceptable use
Use only photos that you took or otherwise have the right to use. Respect other people's privacy: if someone else appears in a photo, get their permission first.
You may not use the app for:
- Any illegal content or activity.
- Nude or sexual content, or any content that sexualises, abuses or exploits children.
- Abusive content, harassment, threats or defamation, or content that incites violence or hatred.
- Impersonating others, or violating their privacy or intellectual property rights.
- Automated or bulk access to the service, or getting around usage limits, for example by tampering with the app or faking devices.
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, disrupt or break into the app or its servers.
Reporting
Every doodle has a Report option in the app. Use it if a doodle is offensive, inappropriate or clearly wrong. We review reports to improve the AI output, and we may act against devices that break these terms. You can also write to info@ibtikaralula.com.
Your photos and doodles
- Your photos remain yours. You give us a limited permission to process them only as needed to provide the service, including sending them to AI providers.
- You may use and share the doodles you make for your own personal purposes. We claim no ownership of them.
- You are responsible for the photos you upload and for how you share the doodles.
Plans and usage limits
- The free plan includes a limited number of doodles, within daily, monthly and lifetime limits, and the crayon style.
- Crayonday Pro gives you more doodles a day and a month, every style, and month posters without a watermark, within fair-use limits.
- Limits are counted per device. The app shows your current limits, and we may change them in the future.
Subscriptions and free trial
- Crayonday Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Google Play account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
- Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, for the same length and at the same price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. If we change the price, Google Play will tell you in advance.
- Free trial: the yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for users who are eligible under Google Play's rules. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it automatically becomes a paid yearly subscription and you are charged when the trial ends.
- Managing and cancelling: you can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. After you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the current paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
- Prices: prices may vary by country. Google Play shows the price in your local currency before you buy, and local taxes may apply.
- Refunds follow Google Play's policies.
- When the iPhone version launches, App Store purchases will follow these terms and Apple's rules.
Availability
We provide the service "as is". It may pause for maintenance or because of outside providers, and we may change or discontinue features.
Your journal lives on your phone and is lost if you delete the app, so keep copies of the doodles that matter to you.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- We provide the app "as is" and "as available", without any promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that doodles will meet your expectations.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, such as the loss of data stored on your phone.
- Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for Crayonday Pro in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be limited by contract.
Suspension
We may suspend a device's access to the service if it breaks these terms or misuses the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will publish the new version here with its date. If you keep using the app after an update, you accept the new terms.
